I play the orchestra.\u201d \u2014 Michael Fassbender as Steve Jobs in the movie Steve Jobs (2015).&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whether Steve Jobs said those lines to Steve Wozniak, or they sprang from the creative mind of Aaron Sorkin, there can be no doubt that the sentiment echoed in those lines cuts to the core of what made Steve Jobs great. Business success, too, doesn\u2019t come from just one function doing its role very well; it comes from the orchestration of these functions into a symphony.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is especially true in a hyper-connected, omni-channel, AI-enabled world. The enterprises that thrive now aren\u2019t just the ones with the most data\u2014or the best data\u2014but the ones that orchestrate that data seamlessly, across teams, processes, and technologies.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\" id=\"h-the-era-of-enterprise-disconnection-nbsp\"><strong>The Era of Enterprise Disconnection<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, a silent frustration is building among business leaders. It\u2019s about enabling business agility and cross-functional alignment.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This requires a mindset shift:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list checkmark-list-new\">\n<li>From enforcing rules to enabling collaboration&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From passively curating data to actively integrating and delivering it&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From thinking in data models to thinking in business processes&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The goal isn\u2019t just better data. From ideation to end-of-life, multiple teams need to coordinate:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list checkmark-list-new\">\n<li>Merchandising plans the range<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supply Chain sources suppliers&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Product teams onboard specifications&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Content teams enrich descriptions and assets&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Compliance validates data&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Marketing and eCommerce publish across channels&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Finance and Operations track performance and profitability&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Without orchestration, this becomes email tennis and spreadsheet chaos.
