It may also include a product\u2019s path to the shelf\u2014the steps of the supply chain that brought it from raw materials to a finished, purchasable item.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is information that consumers around the world consider important. Mexico follows closely at 76%, indicating a strong regional emphasis on provenance. The UK showed the lowest demand, but even there a clear majority (62%) said they value easy access to country-of-origin information<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"628\" src=\"https:\/\/syndigo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Product-Provenance.svg\" alt=\"Product Provenance\" class=\"wp-image-74927\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Though there were noteworthy differences in response across geographies, responses were generally consistent across age groups and genders.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-transparency-in-the-product-experience-builds-loyalty-nbsp\">Transparency in the product experience builds loyalty&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Origin data doesn\u2019t just power purchase decisions\u2014it builds long-term brand affinity. The report found that\u202f<strong>75% of global shoppers<\/strong>\u202fare more likely to return to a brand that provides easy access to product information.
