Kroger Own Brands is excited to announce the move to an improved platform for New Item Setup (NIS). Syndigo will be replacing Vendor Item Portal (VIP) as Kroger Own Brand’s platform for new item setup. It will provide streamlined collaboration between the content you are responsible for versus the PL Marketing team, making the requirements from you clearer and with far fewer attributes overall.

Know your 1WorldSync VIP current contract end date. If you are up for renewal please ensure you provide notice to 1WorldSync so you are not auto-renewed and take measures to plan migration to Syndigo. Once you have Kroger Labeled Products syndication enabled in your Syndigo account, attend training and start submitting your own brand products for setup and maintenance!
Yes, you can use Syndigo for both your Kroger and national brand items with Kroger.
There are many brands that have been using Kroger Item API since 2022. If you are already contracted with Syndigo for the Kroger connection, simply attend the Kroger our brands supplier training and have the feature enabled in your account. Complete the form here and some will get back with you.
The Syndigo platform for Kroger Labeled Products is available NOW. If your contract is up for renewal, please ensure you take appropriate actions to migrate to Syndigo. Simply fill out the form above to start the process of Syndigo account setup and training.
VIP will be phased out and sunset by end of this calendar year and Private Brands will be completely converted to the Syndigo platform. It is critical for Kroger’s private brand suppliers to transition to Syndigo upon their current contract renewal so to not experience long interruptions in setting or updating items. There will not be an alternate solution for Private Brands in 2026.
Yes, if you are engaged in GDSN you can leverage that investment with the Syndigo Kroger Item API. Fill out the form here and get scheduled for training so you know how the GDSN connection works.
If you are engaged in GDSN you can leverage that investment with the Syndigo Kroger Item API. You can use any GS1 certified data pool. You will, however, need to migrate from 1WorldSync’s Vendor Item Portal (VIP) to Syndigo to complete your item submissions (top-off). You will publish to the Kroger Syndigo GLN, which is 0011110000002
