This Product Description describes the functionality and usage requirements to provide Clientwith ContentSync. This Product Description forms part of the Contract to provide Client withContentSync. Capitalized terms used but not defined herein have the definitions assigned to themin the 1WorldSync General Terms and Conditions.
ContentSync allows Client to transmit product data and content to recipients using web-basedAPIs. As APIs become more commonplace, some recipients may require this method of transmissionin order to exchange product information. While ContentSync utilizes standard security protocolsfor Internet-based transmissions, they occur outside of the GDSN and may use third-partyinfrastructure components, including cloud-based servers. Please note that you may not be ableto send your product information to such organizations without using an API-based method likeContentSync.
By publishing Client’s product data and content to recipients using ContentSync, Client iselecting to use this method of transmission and these infrastructure components on behalf ofClient. If you do not wish to do this, you should not use ContentSync to publish Client’sdata/content to those recipients.
