This Product Description outlines the application functionality provided by the PowerReviews CorePlatform user-generated content solution (“PwR Core Platform”) and the PowerReviews Syndicationsolution (“PwR Syndication”). This document forms part of the Agreement to provide Client with the PwRCore Platform and Syndication capabilities. Capitalized terms used but not defined herein have thedefinitions assigned to them in the Master Services Agreement and any links to the PowerReviewswebsite included in this Product Description.
Capabilities
The PwR Core Platform provides a comprehensive framework of capabilities designed to enable thecollection, display, and distribution of authentic user-generated content. PwR Core Platform helpssupport the business practices related to using the power of customer feedback to build trust, drivesales, and improve their products and services.
Key Features:
- Review Collection: The PwR Core Platform facilitates the collection of product reviews andratings through various channels such as email and website integrations. It providescustomizable templates and scheduling options for requesting feedback from consumers afterthey’ve made a purchase or interacted with the product/service.
- Moderation and Management: The PwR Core Platform offers tools for moderating andmanaging incoming reviews. This includes features like automated spam detection, contentmoderation, and the ability to flag or filter reviews based on predefined criteria to ensureauthenticity and relevance.
- Syndication (PwR Syndication):
- PwR Syndication enables Client to extend the reach of its consumer reviews by allowingfor the distribution of consumer-generated content to third-party retailers and otheronline channels where potential end customers may be researching products or makingpurchasing decisions.
- Expanded Reach: By syndicating review content, businesses can increase the impact of asingle review or piece of content. This ensures maximum sales lift, even across retailersites.
- Customization and Control: Businesses have control over which review content issyndicated and where it is displayed. This can ensure your content is only shared toauthorized resellers.
- Analytics: With PowerReviews analytics you can understand the reach of your content,and monitor performance metrics to optimize syndication efforts over time.
- This solution leverages product data provided by the Client. It is the Client’s responsibilityto ensure the product data, particularly UPC/EAN/GTIN, is clean and accurate to enableauto-matching. If manual matching is necessary due to unavailable data, the Client agreesto provide the Company with a mapping file containing their product details and relevantsender’s or receiver’s information.
- SEO and Rich Snippets: The PwR Core Platform helps clients optimize their review content forsearch engines by generating rich snippets that enhance the visibility and click-through rates ofproduct pages in search results. This includes displaying star ratings, review counts, and otherrelevant information directly in search listings.
- Analytics and Insights: The PwR Core Platform provides analytics and reporting tools to trackthe performance of reviews and ratings over time. The suite includes customizable reports,report scheduling, data visualizations, and site analytics to measure the impact of ratings andreviews on conversion rates.
- Customization and Integration: The PwR Core Platform offers customization options to matchthe branding and style of Client’s websites and marketing materials. It also integrates seamlesslywith e-commerce platforms, content management systems, and other third-party tools, making iteasy to incorporate review functionality into existing workflows.
Implementation
The implementation team will provide comprehensive support to Client throughout the implementationof its PowerReviews Core Platform Subscription. This support will be available from kickoff, through theimplementation service end date listed on the Order Form. If no specific start and end dates areincluded, support will be available for 90 days following the project kickoff call.
Scope of Implementation Services:
- Kickoff Call: Company will coordinate a kickoff call with Client within 30 days of contractsignature to align on objectives, timelines, and requirements.
- Status Calls: Company will coordinate regular update calls with Client throughout theimplementation phase to track progress and address any emerging needs. These calls will bescheduled based on mutually agreed-upon intervals, typically on a weekly basis.
- Implementation Support: Company will provide comprehensive support to the Client inimplementing the solutions outlined below, while strictly adhering to PowerReviews’ bestpractices. This support encompasses guiding the client through the implementation of theproducts specified in the Order Form. Specifically, support includes providing expert guidanceand assistance to ensure the successful deployment and configuration of the defined solutions.Support is available during normal business hours and does not extend to after-hours support.
- Ratings & Reviews: Company will provide support to the Client in implementing the Ratings &Reviews solution, which includes:
- Standard JavaScript integration (i.e. ReviewSnippet, ReviewDisplay, ReviewSnapshot,ReviewList, Category Snippet, Review Image Display, Write, Checkout Beacon, and CallbackFunctions)
- Product Data (Feedless or Product Feed)
- SEO
- Order Feed
- APIs (Display API, Enterprise API, or Write API)
- XMLs (Summary or Complete)
- Ratings & Reviews Content Import: Company will assist the Client in importing existing reviewsinto the new system to ensure data continuity. Client is responsible for providing the Companywith the necessary data files, following the specified format outlined in this link. It is the Client’sresponsibility to ensure all formatting and data manipulation is completed to provide clean,usable data. Once the Client provides the files in the specified format, the Company will processand ingest them.
- Write-a-Review Forms: Company will build and customize up to two custom review submissionforms, by language, as defined in the Order Form, tailored to the client’s specifications. Allstandard write-a-review forms will include the following fields:
- Overall Rating
- Review Headline
- Review Comments
- Bottom Line
- Nickname
- Location
- Media Upload
- Email
- Up to five custom questions, defined by the Client
- Questions & Answers (Q&A): Company will provide support to the Client in implementing theQuestions & Answers solution, which includes:
- Standard JavaScript integration (i.e. QuestionSnippet, QuestionDisplay, and CallbackFunctions)
- APIs (Display API, Enterprise API, or Write API)
- Questions & Answers (Q&A) Content Import: Company will assist the Client in importingexisting questions and answers into the new system to ensure data continuity. Client isresponsible for providing the Company with the necessary data files, following the specifiedformat outlined in this link. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure all formatting and datamanipulation is completed to provide clean, usable data. Once the Client provides the files in thespecified format, the Company will process and ingest them.
- Seller Ratings: Company will assist the client in configuring and enabling their Seller Ratingsemail feature within the PowerReviews portal.
- Share to Amazon: Company will assist the Client in configuring this solution, enabling theClient’s customers to share their reviews on Amazon. The Client is solely responsible for providingthe necessary data, such as ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number), and validating thisdata for accuracy and completeness.
- Syndication (PwR Syndication) Implementation:
- Account Setup and Configuration: Set up a Client account on Company’s PwR CorePlatform and configure the Syndication features. This involves providing basic informationincluding Client website URL, product catalog, and branding preferences.
- Integration with PowerReviews Core Platform (“PwR Core Platform”): If Client has anexisting PwR Core Platform Subscription to collect and manage customer reviews, PwRSyndication can be seamlessly integrated with Client’s existing account. This integrationensures that review content is synchronized and up-to-date across all channels.
- Automated Content Mapping: Company will use product data shared by Client to identifypotential brand and product matches automatically.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Company will ensure compliance with syndicationchannel guidelines, as well as any legal and regulatory requirements and/or guidelinesrelated to online reviews and consumer protection. Company will regularly review andmoderate syndicated review content to maintain quality and integrity.
- Pre-launch Quality Assurance: Company will conduct comprehensive testing and validation ofthe setup to ensure readiness for launch. Feedback resulting from the testing will be shared withthe Client, who will be responsible for addressing and implementing any necessary changes.Upon completion of the changes by the Client, they will notify the Company to conduct anotherreview.
- Post-launch Quality Assurance: After the solution has gone live, the Company will continue tomonitor and evaluate its performance to ensure optimal functionality. Any feedback or issuesidentified during this phase will be communicated to the Client. The Client will be responsible foraddressing and implementing necessary changes based on the feedback provided by theCompany. Once the Client has made the required changes, they will notify the Company forfurther review and assessment.
- Implementation Handoff: Company will coordinate a call with the Client within 30 days of go-live, to introduce them to the team that will support them post-implementation.
Client Obligations
Pre-Implementation:
- Participate in the kickoff call within 30 days of contract signature to align on objectives, timelines,and requirements.
- Engage in regular status calls with the Company throughout the implementation phase to trackprogress and address emerging needs.
During Implementation:
- Provide necessary data files for Ratings & Reviews Content Import and Questions & AnswersContent Import, following specified formats outlined by the Company, according to the scope ofthe project.
- Ensure all provided data files are clean, accurate, and formatted correctly for ingestion by theCompany.
- Provide necessary data such as ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number) for enabling theShare to Amazon feature and validate this data for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure product data, particularly UPC/EAN/GTIN, is clean and accurate for the Syndicationsolution to enable auto-matching. Provide a mapping file if manual matching is required.
- Collaborate with the Company to define up to five custom questions for customized reviewsubmission forms, if required by Client.
- Approve and finalize Custom Moderation guidelines before content moderation can commence,if the product is in scope.
- Address any feedback or issues communicated by the Company during the Pre-launch QualityAssurance phase, and implement necessary changes promptly.
- Notify the Company upon completion of changes for another review and assessment.
- Client will provide necessary access to their systems and computing environment for pre-production and production phases, ensuring appropriate connectivity for testing purposes.
Post-Implementation:
- Continuously monitor the performance of the implemented solution.
- Address and implement necessary changes based on feedback or issues communicated by theCompany during the Post-launch Quality Assurance phase.
- Notify the Company once required changes have been made for further review and assessment.
Handoff Phase:
- Attend the implementation handoff call within 30 days of go-live to meet the post-implementation support team introduced by the Company.
Company Obligations
Pre-Implementation:
- Coordinate a Kickoff Call with the Client within 30 days of contract signature to align onobjectives, timelines, and requirements.
- Coordinate regular Status Calls with the Client throughout the implementation phase to trackprogress and address emerging needs
- Provide comprehensive support to the Client in implementing the specified solutions, adheringstrictly to PowerReviews’ best practices.
- Assist the Client in configuring and enabling the Ratings & Reviews solution, including standardJavaScript integration, product data integration, SEO, order feed, APIs, and XMLs, according tothe scope of the project.
- Assist the Client in importing existing reviews and content into the new system to ensure datacontinuity, processing and ingesting provided data files according to specified formats, accordingto the scope of the project.
- Test Account: One (1) review import into the test account per locale/site.
- Production Account (pre go-live): One (1) review import into the production account priorto go- live per locale/site.
- Production Account (post go-live): One (1) review import into the production account postgo- live per locale/site.
- Build and customize up to two custom review submission forms tailored to the Client’sspecifications, if required by the Client.
- Provide support to the Client in implementing the Questions & Answers solution, includingstandard JavaScript integration and APIs, according to the scope of the project.
- Test Account: One (1) Q&A import into the test account per locale/site.
- Production Account (pre go-live): One (1) Q&A import into the production account prior togo- live per locale/site.
- Production Account (post go-live): One (1) Q&A import into the production account postgo-live per locale/site.
- Assist the Client in importing existing questions and answers into the new system to ensure datacontinuity, processing and ingesting provided data files according to specified formats, accordingto the scope of the project.
- Assist the Client in configuring and enabling the Seller Ratings email feature within thePowerReviews portal, according to the scope of the project.
- Assist the Client in configuring the Share to Amazon solution to enable customers to sharereviews on Amazon, according to the scope of the project.
- Collaborate with the Client to enable the Syndication solution, leveraging product data providedby the Client for auto-matching and providing manual matching support if needed, according tothe scope of the project.
- Collaborate with the Client to establish Custom Moderation guidelines for content moderationpost-implementation, according to the scope of the project.
Implementation and Post-Implementation:
- Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of the setup to ensure readiness for launch.
- Share feedback resulting from testing with the Client for necessary changes and improvements.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the implemented solution post-launch.
- Communicate any feedback or issues identified during the post-launch phase to the Client fornecessary actions.
- Conduct follow-up reviews and assessments upon completion of Client-initiated changes.
- Coordinate an implementation handoff call within 30 days of go-live to introduce the post-implementation support team to the Client.
