L’Occitane en Provence is synonymous with high-quality beauty brands that excite loyal consumers worldwide. A leading luxury retailer of body, face, hair, and fragrances, they operate in over 90 countries with over 1,500 stores. Managing their global product information was an unwieldy challenge. From manual entries to database disconnections across the enterprise, high data error and loss risks were serious challenges — especially when you add around 300 new SKUs per year and manage over 1,000 active SKUs.  

With the help of Syndigo PIM, they’ve achieved higher levels of product information management effectiveness that includes a seamless connection with their ERP solutions and e-commerce platforms, have higher quality data with their new advanced automation, and accelerated and optimized their data enrichment process. 

With Syndigo PIM, we have seen significant improvement in our global data quality compared to past solutions. It’s more user-friendly and efficiently helps us manage data, with over 300 new SKUs to enrich per year.

Who doesn’t spoil their pets? The Pet Supplies Market size is estimated at USD $229.73 billion in 2024 and is expected to reach USD $335.14 billion by 2029. So, it’s no surprise that business is booming for Pet Supermarket, a leading pet supply retailer with over 225 locations across the U.S. Southeast with a popular e-commerce site. To keep up with this explosion in growth they needed to scale faster while bringing their brands to life digitally and seamlessly with engaging content for a memorable product experience. 

They quickly got to work on a major overhaul of their systems by modernizing their product information management with Syndigo PIM, streamlining product syndication with Syndigo Syndication for improved alignment with partner requirements, and introducing Syndigo Enhanced Content for creative product experiences to keep their customers coming back for more. This holistic approach helped solve many of their core data and content ecosystem challenges.

One of Norway’s biggest grocery outlets with more than 1,200 stores, Coop Norge operates under many different chain names. The business challenge? They needed a more flexible data management system to handle future changes, such as meeting environmental, social, and governance (ESG) and Digital Product Passport regulatory requirements. Also, their legacy systems were becoming outdated, causing inconsistent data quality from external sources that took considerable time and effort to correct. 

They turned to Syndigo MDM to solve their critical data management issues — with impressive results. Now they can streamline the flow of data from data pools and data onboarding to syndication to downstream systems. They can also set up both a buy view and a sell view in the MDM platform, integrate with multiple master data sources across categories, and increase data enrichment processing speeds thanks to less manual labor. 

With the Syndigo project, we achieved a significant milestone by successfully replacing our legacy systems with Syndigo’s modern architecture and scalable technology stack. This transformation allowed us to establish both buy and sell views in our MDM landscape. As we move into the next phases, our focus will be on enhancing data quality, which we anticipate will lead to substantial improvements in operational efficiencies. This project has been a game-changer for us, setting a solid foundation for future growth and innovation.

It’s not all “play” at Schleich, a leading toy figurine manufacturer with annual sales of over 40 million characters and play sets sold in 60+ countries. They set their sights on becoming a more data-driven organization with new systems and processes that collect and exchange data more efficiently to improve the time it takes to generate actionable performance insights.  

To adapt to the fast pace of digital commerce and changing consumer preferences they selected Syndigo’s Digital Shelf Analytics which helped them uncover valuable performance data buried across their systems. From highlighting inconsistencies on live sites and scoring their content on a retailer’s site to strategizing to win the Buy Box, Schleich now proactively competes using analytics tailored specifically for brands’ needs to optimize their customers’ product experience. 

Schleich is managing a catalog of more than 500 SKUS, and it’s hard to be present on every single product page at every time. We want to make sure that 100% of our active assortment is showing how we want it to show 100% of the time.

It’s one of the world’s largest manufacturers of products used by over 3.4 billion customers in more than 190 countries. Unilever North America (NA) caters to the largest Unilever market globally and requires seamless syndication of its product information to trading partners. Their challenges included the need for more consistent and strong control over the quality of product data throughout their company’s ecosystem, plus a more streamlined and reliable product content distribution workflow.  

They decided to redesign most of their content operations practices and overhaul their product content Syndication strategy with Syndigo. Their comprehensive approach reduced reliance on external partners and empowered them to accelerate their business with proactive, strategic capabilities for sustained operational excellence and enhanced market impact. The advantages of their new setup include a drop in the number of systems required and improved data quality insights while allowing content managers to be more systematic and strategic.

With worldwide revenue in the Fashion Market projected to reach US$770.90bn in 2024, they need to aggressively compete for shoppers’ attention in creative ways.
