Why did Syndigo acquire Taggstar?

By acquiring Taggstar, Syndigo is expanding the Syndigo Product Experience Cloud to include a critical part of the shopper’s journey: confidence to purchase through context-driven engagement. Syndigo provides the Product Experience Cloud (PXC), delivering a single source of truth for product content including structured attributes, imagery, enhanced content, and syndicated User Generated Content (UGC) from PowerReviews—all channel-ready, compliant, and optimized for retailers and marketplaces. Taggstar extends the PXC with Social Proof Messaging bringing contextual cues and product badges directly into the Product Detail Page (PDP). Together, they amplify product content, enhance shopping experiences, and drive higher conversions.
