SUCCESS STORY
With a 98% average Content Health Score at Walmart and a 96% average across key retailers, Blount Fine Foods expanded its product experience strategy from content health monitoring to a unified digital shelf tech stack.
Blount Fine Foods has built its reputation on delivering premium soups, prepared meals, and seafood products to consumers across North America. But in today’s ecommerce landscape, great products need more than great recipes. They need complete, accurate, retailer-ready content that helps shoppers choose them online.
When Blount Fine Foods first partnered with Syndigo, the team focused on improving content health scores across key retail partners and creating a more efficient process for monitoring product content. Those efforts helped the company achieve strong content quality results and gain greater confidence in managing retailer requirements.

For many consumer brands, retailer content requirements continue to change. New attributes, evolving standards, and ongoing content updates create a never-ending cycle of work.
Blount Fine Foods has experienced those changes firsthand.
“Our focus has continued to be on maintaining high-quality product content across our key retail partners while supporting new product launches and evolving retailer requirements,” said Sasha Albuerme, Brand Manager, Licensed & Omnichannel. “Syndigo has helped us manage these priorities more efficiently by providing a centralized platform that simplifies content management and helps us stay aligned with retailer expectations.”
As retailer requirements have become more demanding, Blount Fine Foods has focused on building processes that make content management more scalable while maintaining the high standards retailers and shoppers expect.

One of the biggest evolutions in the Blount Fine Foods product experience journey has been the expansion of their content management and digital shelf tools.

What started with Content Health Report has evolved into a broader digital shelf strategy powered by Core Content Syndication, Enhanced Content, Analytics, reporting capabilities, and expanded search visibility tools.
“Our use of Syndigo has expanded as our digital shelf needs have grown,” Albuerme explained. “Having our content management, Enhanced Content, Analytics, and reporting within a single platform has helped streamline our workflow and provide greater visibility into the health of our product content.”
By consolidating multiple functions into a single platform, the team has reduced the need to manage content across disconnected systems while gaining greater visibility into content performance and retailer readiness.
Maintaining consistent content across multiple retailers is no small task, particularly as each retailer continues to refine its own requirements. Blount Fine Foods relies on Syndigo to support content management efforts across key partners including Walmart, Target, and Kroger.
“Syndigo has made it easier to support our content across Target, Walmart, and Kroger by helping us maintain consistent, retailer-ready product information,” Albuerme said.
The company has also expanded its use of Enhanced Content, creating additional opportunities to showcase products and strengthen brand storytelling where supported by retailers.

For shoppers, that means more than the basic product details. Enhanced Content gives brands room to bring the product story to life through richer visuals, comparison information, and more detailed context that can help consumers make a confident choice.
“Enhanced Content has given us additional opportunities to better showcase our products and brand story where supported by the retailer,” Albuerme said.
Retail requirements continue to evolve, but the team has found it easier to keep pace.
“Retailer content requirements continue to evolve, making it increasingly important to keep product information accurate and up to date,” Albuerme said. “Syndigo has helped simplify that process by giving us the tools to identify updates and manage changes more efficiently.”

Strong product content requires visibility, but visibility alone isn’t enough.
Today, Blount Fine Foods is using Syndigo Analytics to help prioritize content work based on retailer requirements, content opportunities, and digital shelf performance.
“Analytics have provided valuable visibility into our digital shelf performance and content health, allowing us to prioritize updates based on retailer requirements and content opportunities rather than relying solely on manual reviews,” Albuerme said.
That shift has helped the team spend less time searching for issues and more time focusing on the content improvements that deliver the greatest impact.
The results have been tangible.
At Walmart, Blount Fine Foods has improved its average Content Health Score from 96% at the time of the original story to 98% today, reflecting the team’s continued focus on delivering complete and accurate product information.
As Blount Fine Foods expanded its digital shelf initiatives, the company also explored new opportunities to scale content syndication on important new sales channels.
One important milestone was successfully launching products on Amazon. Syndigo’s strong syndication connections and expertise with Amazon’s platform made the transition fast and seamless.
The achievement demonstrated how a strong content foundation could support expansion into new retail channels while maintaining consistency across the broader commerce ecosystem.
No single metric or milestone defines success for Blount.
As the company continues managing more than 100 SKUs across multiple retailers, the focus remains on maintaining content quality, improving operational efficiency, and preparing for the future of digital commerce.
That future may increasingly involve AI and automation.
As the digital shelf continues to evolve, Blount Fine Foods remains focused on the fundamentals that matter most: complete, accurate product information that helps shoppers confidently choose its products wherever they shop.
