Supply Chain

A supply chain is the network of people, organizations, resources, activities, and technology involved in creating and delivering a product or service, from raw materials to customers.

What is Supply Chain?

The Supply Chain encompasses all activities involved in sourcing, producing, and delivering products to consumers. Managing product information throughout the supply chain is crucial for efficiency – for instance, ensuring that each stakeholder has the correct, up-to-date product specifications and packaging data can prevent costly errors or delays. In PXM, aligning content (like product descriptions, images, and specifications) across the supply chain and the consumer-facing channels is part of delivering a consistent experience.

Syndigo’s supply chain solutions focus on the data and content side of this process, helping to optimize data flows and ensure that accurate product content travels with the product from factory to shelf. By leveraging Syndigo, companies can reduce friction in their supply chain, as product data only needs to be entered once and can then be shared or syndicated to partners (factories, distributors, retailers) automatically, improving speed and accuracy of product launches.
