Designing and manufacturing premium appliances for home, scientific, healthcare, and ADA needs, AGA Marvel primarily sells their products through specialty distributors.
But after building a relationship with a major home improvement retailer, AGA Marvel is now branching out into other traditional retail relationships — and finding that Syndigo makes that easy.
As AGA marvel expanded its sales channels, it discovered that each retailer wanted different information in a different format.
“To keep up with the workload that went along with that, it was either hire a full-time person to maintain the data, or use the Edgenet PXM platform,” says AGA Marvel Website Marketing Manager Krista Jensen
AGA Marvel spends a lot of time understanding its customers and how they buy. Jensen ensures that AGA Marvel stays on top of its digital presence, which is critical to supporting sales.
“Consumers shop online for large appliances today, especially doing initial research,” Jensen says.
To provide the robust product content customers expect, Jensen coordinates the work of many teams to keep data correct and current. “We work hard to make our website and all product information as robust as possible. If we can provide an answer online, we do.”
Syndigo has simplified the task of storing and managing product content for Jensen and her colleagues.
“Before Syndigo, we held data locally on hard drives or protected servers,” Jensen says. “Now, we have one place to host all of our most current product information, and all of our data recipients can have the most updated version as soon as it’s complete.”

“Automation is my keyword for 2019. I want to automate as many processes as possible,” Jensen says. “Syndigo will help us develop integrations with our current systems and expand data consumption exponentially.”
